-Source and order materials for collection development and production. -Manage all communications with the factories and fabric mills throughout the entire production process. -Developed Marketing Plan with research of market trends & opportunities, sales strategies, and product pricing.

-Assisted pattern makers with draping, transfer of drapes into paper patterns, and with the copies of final patterns. -Created first patterns for basic design styles, through both draping and flat pattern making. -Manipulated patterns, adjusting them to match the alterations made to the garments on the model fittings.

-Assisted with cutting and sewing product samples and final designs. -Supported the head of atelier and the production pattern maker to ensure that the show and production deadlines were met. -Created pattern copies for show looks, samples, embroidery layouts and production patterns as directed.

-Manipulated embroidery layouts, prepared and adjusted them to be sent out for production. -Assisted bridal and couture pattern makers to create first patterns and production patterns. -Developed experimental trims and embroideries for bridal collections. -Performed design research for the Bridal and Couture collections and for Marchesa’s Lenox line.

-By August 2012, was the top sales associate in the Florida Area for DVF. -Assisted store managers with inventory re-orders and store merchandising.-Built and maintained relationships with local and international customers. -Styled customers with the latest collection items, and helped them to achieve the optimal DVF look.

-Collaborated with the evening dresses team to develop embroidery and beading layouts. -Assisted knit designers with creative drapings for Fall ‘11, and handbag designers with design developments for Fall ’11.

-Assisted head of atelier with draping and with the creation of first patterns for both evening and bridal. -Communicated with fabrics and trims suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products to designer. (efficient with sourcing or materials)

-Assisted with creative draping for new dress designs. -Coordinated sample lines, and made sure that they were finished and tagged correctly for buyers and sales staff.-Researched trends and inspirations for Spring ‘11 collection.

-Teaching Assistant for an introductory design course (IDES140)-Responsible for communicating and updating class content on a daily basis in order to maintain control and clarity in a course of over 550 students.
