(formerly Jasmin Media Group, better known as LiveJasmin) in 2017.My role in the project involved designing, developing, and maintaining the REST APIs. The system was built using a microservices architecture and all services were hosted on the AWS cloud. I was actively involved in researching and developing new technologies to enhance the product. This involved collaborating on the development of a chat server using XMPP, developing a proof of concept for a Firebase-style backend with an event database, and exploring the use of a graph database (Neo4j) for app searches.The technology stack used included a RESTful API layer, using technologies such as PHP, Node, Nginx, Node JS, and Elastic-Search, as well as various AWS services such as S3, Route53, Cloudfront, Lambda, and DynamoDB.The working methodology followed was Agile, specifically Scrum, with a focus on TDD (Test-Driven Development).
