I oversee all internal and external communications for KERA, one of the nation's leading public broadcasting stations serving 2.6 million people each week. My core responsibility is to maintain a deep understanding of the organization’s most important projects and communicate their value with clear, compelling and consistent messaging. I executed marketing and communications strategies to increase awareness and drive engagement with KERA, North Texas'​ NPR and PBS member station, and KXT, one of the most-listened-to nonprofit AAA music stations in the United States. I wrote extensively for the organization’s on-air and digital platforms to promote radio and TV initiatives, increase.

I served the marketing team in developing social media and member communication strategies for KERA, KXT and KERA News. I also executed all public relations functions and assisted with writing and design for promotional campaigns. Additionally, my role included management of the volunteer street team for KXT, which I deployed to live music events across.
