•Implement new product procedures for apparel sector of company •Create apparel and accessory designs •Help to manage product development and production procedures •Create/ Improve/ Execute technical design processes and tech pack systems •Lead fittings (from proto - TOP) •Set standards to improve work/life balance for internal teams •Analyze calendar and provide strategies to meet deadlines (and catch up on back orders) •Create templates for company future success (tech pack/ WIP/ style master/ T&A/ design passoff/ budget balance sheet/ etc…) •Develop and/or re-develop fabrics, trims, and findings •Teach core skills that will improve team success going forward

Create/update production tech packs for all all sample stages (1st fit thru TOP) • Create tech flats and callouts in Illustrator • Spec all incoming samples and prep for fittings/comments • Advise fit suggestions/recaps to Director of Tech Design • Input grade rules for styles going into TOP/production • Advise and deliver all fit comments and corrections • Oversee all specifications for my advised garments

· Manage the ZAC Zac Posen Product Development/ Technical Design Department · Allocate all styles to domestic and overseas factories·Negotiate terms and initial costing with all factories for development and production styles·Represent the PD and TD Departments at all internal meetings and fittings· Travel to factories to evaluate factory process/workmanship/capabilities for garment production·Establish and Maintain company grading/sizing system for all product categories (alpha and numeric)·Develop and Maintain Points of Measure for all product categories·Create and Manage all tech packs/templates for all styles through all fit stages (development through production/TOP)·Head all fittings from development through production·Approve/reject all PPS garments to bulk·Create fit schedule and Production Time & Action Calendar for the year·Develop fit standards and Manage fit/quality specifications for all styles·Determine which details can be changed to preserve intended design integrity·Correct post-fit overseas and domestic patterns for all fit stages when necessary ·Select and Standardize company’s internal components (trims, fusible and non-fusible interlinings, shoulder pads, etc...)

·Initiate all development tech packs in Web PDM ·Collaborate with design to develop marketable/profitable garments ·Responsible for 70% of RT woven and cut/sew knits and 25% of full fashion sweater line development · Average 20 fit comments per week · Manage fittings for all product from reference fit through production 1st fit ·Correspond with all cross-functional teams to update on my team status/notifications ·Responsible for creating a new development team to expedite speed of process and accuracy of 1st prototypes through to 1st fits
