I am an enthusiast engineer with academic background in computer science and business administration and I love to work on the edge of the two. I play with technology since I was 12 and I founded my first startup at 17. During my professional experience I had the chance to work in two extremely different contexts, big corporates and early stage startups, giving me a broad knowledge of the business challenges of IT companies at any scale. Some highlights on my experience:- I founded and directed two web startups; I always try to make things better than they are and to build real value for other people; I love to get my hands dirty and I hate to waste resources of any kind;- I have extensive experience in designing and building web products from scratch, starting from understanding user needs and going through the whole design and development cycle; I embrace the data-driven approach, so I believe in the importance of building an efficient testing machine;- I worked many years with multi-sided platforms both in B2B and B2C markets, tackling the growth issues of acquiring users of the different sides; I have built businesses with different business models: success fee, SaaS, consulting and direct sale of digital products;- I have 10+ year experience in technology, both in very complex IT architectures and in standalone web application; I’m not a coder, but I love to code and to work with coders;- I worked with and managed small teams inside startups, as well as big teams for very complex projects in corporates; I take great effort to empower other people and to get the best out of each individual.
