As Field Supervisor, I was responsible for the orientation, training, and supervision of my team of 15+ enumerators, who were tasked with conducting door to door surveys to collect economic, demographic, and housing data from their assigned households. Queens is a densely populated, economically disparate borough, and the most ethnically diverse urban area in the world, with almost 50% of its residents born outside of the US. As such, the task of gaining the trust, understanding and cooperation of respondents is often difficult, as is breaking a language barrier that encompasses almost 800 languages spoken within the borough.I was proud to be ranked among the top 3 Crew Leaders in Queens during the 2010 Census, and I continue to achieve high response rates from other Census surveys that are conducted throughout the year.

I delivered SAP MM software training to managers, department supervisors, and team members of 5 of the largest BJ’s Wholesale Clubs in the Tri-State area. My responsibilities included onboarding, implementation, and go-live support for all end-users, many of whom had limited computer experience and were reluctant and/or apprehensive about their ability to incorporate new technology into their daily responsibilities. The results were outstanding: After a week of computer-based presentations and hands-on training, which included extensive practice with hand-held devices, my clients were able to master the new procurement, inventory, and reporting processes with ease, confidence, and increased productivity. Many were so comfortable and familiar with the new processes that they no longer needed to rely on job aids or SME support. My go-live period at each warehouse could have easily been cut in half! SUMMARY:- Trained, onboarded, implemented, and provided go-live support for all end-users- Presented and delivered computer-based and hands-on training, including the use of hand-held devices- Updated and troubleshooted training materials: job-aids, computer-based practice modules, and written materials/documents- Assessed client's post-training performance and level of productivity

I co-founded and directed Aktive Learning tutoring agency, a successful academic agency serving K-12 students in the NYC area. I hired and trained tutors to work with students one-on-one or in small group settings. We maintained an A+ rating from the BBB and developed a client base almost exclusively through referrals by school guidance departments, teachers, and former clients.
