Det innebär också att jag är med och skriver användarinstruktioner till andra teknikinformatörer som skall använda detta content management system, håller kurser internt för hur KCc skall användas, anpassar arbetsprocesser efter KCc och hjälper projektledare och teknikinformatörer att arbeta i KCc.

Working as a consultant for the Spot Weld Application Center at ABB Robotics in Mölndal. Mainly working with various technical documentation for the robot function packages. The produced documentation consists of Software and Hardware documentation. The Hardware documentation consists of operation instructions, maintenance instruction, spare part lists etc.The documentation is currently produced with the Office programs. The SW documentation is slowly beeing transferred from beeing produced in Word to Skribenta, a CCMS (Component Content Management System) produced by Excosoft.

I have been responsible for producing technical documentation such as THI, PSI, OMM and FAT procedures for different kind of Caps, but also for Hubs and Clamp Connectors. I have also been updating Qualification Procedures for TX-seals.I have also been a part of the introduction program where I have been helping new technical writers when they have started their assignments.

I'm working close with our consultants, helping them in their work. I find new consultants/candidates, match them with our inquiries, present the consultant/candidate for our customers. Follow up business. I have conducted performance appraisals and salary negotiations and I have also laid off people. I have also improved processes within the company, developed work methods internally. Externally I have visited customers, negotiated terms and conditions of our consultants. I have also established new customer relations and participated in the work agreement for cooperation with other consulting companies.

Worked in Norway for our costumer, National Oilwell Varco, as a technical writer. Writing their operating and maintenance instructions for pipe handeling equipment to oil rigs and drilling ships.

At NOV, I have been responsible for the development of technical documentation such as maintenance instructions and operating instructions for different pipe handling equipment (HydraRacker III, IV and XY, V-Door Machine, Horizontal-to-Vertical Machine, Mouseholes, Stand Building Slips and Power Slips). The products described on www.nov.com. These have been developed primarily with Microsoft Office. To produce graphic elements, I used Autodesk Inventor, and free software GIMP has been used in image editing. All the documentation I produced was written in English. In a few cases, I have used translators for translation into Russian and Norwegian.

At Bofors I wrote user instructions, maintenance manuals, data sheets, technical specifications, installation instructions, spare parts catalogs, IETM (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) and more for quick access to desired task / information. User documentation was prepared in accordance with AECMA and S1000D and produced using the editing tool Epic Editor. This was done for both Swedish and international customers. The different documentation was written in English or Swedish. In some cases, I used translation firms to help me. Graphics / illustrations, etc. were produced using SolidEdge, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. For help with HTML editing, I used Microsoft FrontPage. I also participated as an instructor / trainer on parts of courses for both Swedish and foreign clients. There were courses in MMI, control systems, maintenance, assembly, etc. I was also responsible for the purchase of technical writer consultants on the projects that I was responsible of.
