Fortunately, my career has provided me with a broad diversity of experience and adventure! Early on I qualified as an accountant working in both professional services and then for a international media company. I then decided to move into education and became a financial trainer, specialising in tax, valuation and investment related topics. Training became my entrée into HSBC Investment Bank where I travelled extensively between London, New York, Dubai and Asia, delivering programs to the Global Markets and Private Banking divisions. I was promoted to Head of Learning and became one of the bank’s youngest ever directors. Subsequently, as a Head of Leadership, Learning and Development at Barclays Wealth, my role widened to include digital learning, performance management and talent strategy. It was a time of global financial turmoil; and at one point, I was part of the team responsible for successfully integrating and on-boarding the Lehman Brothers operation. In 2011 I joined 7city (acquired by Fitch Group in 2013) to start up the Middle East & Africa business, in early 2014 I also became responsible for the Asia Pacific region. Later in 2014 I agreed (and was honoured) to become CEO of Fitch Learning. Fitch Learning is the global leader in financial education.
