Vitae of Andreas KunzAndreas Kunz studied software engineering and English at the University of Duisburg.He joined Spectro A.I. – a leading provider of atomic emission spectrometers - in 1988 as a software engineer. Soon he was appointed as assistant sales manager in international sales and then promoted to Sales Director Germany.Together with former colleagues he established Fink & Partner in 1993, a solution provider for LIMS and spectrometry software. There he held the position of a General Manager with his main focus on sales.In 2003 Andreas Kunz joined the start-up team of Quantron and initiated and built-up the international distribution. Quantron was represented in 40 countries, when it was acquired by Bruker AXS in September 2006. Two years later, JUWE, manufacturing combustion and gas analysis systems for CS/ONH was merged and Bruker Elemental GmbH was formed.Until March 2016 Andreas Kunz was managing director of Bruker Elemental GmbH in Kalkar, Germany. He was promoted to be a Vice President of Bruker Elemental’s global business. In April 2016 QuantoLux GmbH was established by Mischa Ounanian and Andreas Kunz.Today Andreas Kunz is Managing Director of QuantoLux GmbH and QuantoLux Innovation GmbH.Andreas looks back on more than 30 years of professional experience in design and sales of analytical instruments, specifically optical emission spectrometers.
