Andreas specialiserar sig som arkitekt på träarkitektur och hållbarhet i alla skeden. Han har bred kompetens inom bostäder, mixed-use, stadsplanering, skolor, industribyggnader, gestaltnings- och visionsarbete, såsom tidiga skeden.De aktuella projekten som Andreas haft som ansvarig arkitekt är: Sigtuna Saluhall (BREEAM excellent), Lidl Visby (Sveriges första NollCO2 certifierad byggnad) och Förskolan Hoppet (Göteborgs Stads innovationsprojekt för fossifritt byggandet). En annan byggnad som certifieras NollCO2 är kv Mösseberg, nytt hyresbostadshus i Uppsala med Skandia Fastigheter som beställare.Andreas is an architect with emphasis on wood architecture, Urban Design and sustainability in all phases. After work experience in Austria at Neumann & Partner and Atelier Wimmer covering numerous large-scale projects in Innsbruck and Vienna, he joining Will Alsop in the UK. Andy has taken a key role in articulating numerous framework plans. These include the Bradford City Centre Masterplan; the winning proposals for Walsall Waterfront and New Islington, Manchester Millennium Village with Urban Splash; Mauritsweg, a mixed-use development in Central Rotterdam. He has also been the senior architect involved in the winning entry for Liverpool’s Fourth Grace.The Bradford City Centre Masterplan was aimed to kick-start broad redevelopment in the city’s centre, and has recently resulted in the creation of four Neighbourhood Development Frameworks within the original vision of the Masterplan. The Masterplan was exhibited in Groundswell at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and at the Royal Academy in London.Manchester Millennium Village is a strategic framework scheme design for 10 years of redevelopment by Urban Splash in Ancoats. The proposal incorporates new waterway links, a waterside park and 2000 homes on the 13 hectare site in between the Ashton and Rochdale canals. Andy was also chiefly involved in designing the first phase architecture of the masterplan: Chips, a large residential apartment building (completion 2009) which will become the gateway development of New Islington.Specialties: Sustainability, Architecture, Urban design, Masterplanning
