From the streets of Central America to the boardrooms of major institutions, I enjoy building bridges among stakeholders. In Honduras, I helped impoverished coffee producers create a cooperative that increased their selling power and paved a way out of poverty. In Silicon Valley, I orchestrated a fact-finding mission for Swiss Re, bringing together the senior leadership team with the largest tech and venture capital players.Creating value for clients and partners is at the core of what I do. I love it. I managed a cardiovascular risk research project with Harvard professors and their postdocs. The findings went into the mortality and morbidity models of our clients. We regularly scored above average in our Net Promoter Score results in the yearly tech conference series I ran with IBM Research and Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute. I have enjoyed many positions throughout my career in financial services, academic, nonprofit and public sector settings. My personal and professional experiences have taught me the following about myself:I can manage partnerships and stakeholders across hierarchies and industries.• I put the customer at the center of all that I do.• I excel at the execution of big ideas with given constraints.• My gut instinct is good but I seek data for my decisions.I can align and lead projects in large international and complex organisations.• I love to win, but helping the team win gives me greater joy.• Structuring and organising comes easy.• The buck stops with me.I educate, refine and drive myself to be a better person.• I am constantly learning because I never settle.• I stay calm when faced with adversity.• I focus on making high-quality decisions. In my free time you might find me hiking a mountain and paragliding down, performing acrobatic acts in my partner acro practice, applying the latest findings in neuroscience and movement, and reading up on metabolic health and nutrition science.
