Together with a fellow university student we presented our project to a national competition for entrepreneur projects called Google Activate. Our idea of a Digital Nanny Service Application was winner of a 3 months of full time mentoring from one of Google’s expert of entrepreneurship projects.During this time we researched market trends to identify target market and key investors, implemented a business plan, created and tracked metrics, created a business pitch and presented the idea to potential investors, organised meetings and communicated our business plan to a range of different stakeholders and also we set goals and tracked our internal business progress.After finalising the Google Mentoring Program, we continued to work from the offices of Barcelona Activa, as the project was selected into a program for counseling young entrepreneurs.We did not get the estimated investment needed but this process was satisfactory in order to grow both professionally and personally. Also, by having the exposure in networking with a broad spectrum of people and companies both domestically and internationally, it made me realise that my next goal in order to progress my career was to improve my English language skills.

Co-author of the article “Development and Validation of Questionnaire of Stressful Life Events (QSLE)”, published by Elsevier in the Journal of Psychiatric Research on the 5th of September of 2017.I was part of the Research Group of the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu, in the Etiopathogenesis and Treatment of Severe Mental Disorders area. The group is formed by a multidisciplinary team with professional researchers from different spheres as psychiatry, psychology, nursing, biology or social work.My roles within the research group included:- Application and use of the Statistical Packaging for the Social Sciences (SPSS), creating a big data base for the research.- Research and provide a scientific analysis of each patient’s diagnosis, for further application to the research.- Psychological testing of control groups and subejcts diagnosed with a range of mental health disorders.- Professional analysis based on the research we were working from for the purposes of producing a published article exposing the whole process and conclusions of the research.- Comprehensive learning of the scientific research process, including all administrative and practical research requirements.
