Born in Athens. He graduated from high school in 1981. He started working as a journalist in 1980, while still in high school. In 1982, he left Greece to study Archeology at the Utah University (USA). He continued his studies in Sociology and Political Sciences this time at KEAN College of New Jersey and later on at the Hunter College of New York. In 1988 he started working for daily newspaper “Eleutherotypia”. He participated in the so-called “Radio Spring” working as a broadcasting producer and script author in radio stations as “Diavlos 10” of Western Attica and “Athens 9,84” until 1992. He has also worked as a radio producer in ERT.In 1995 he created the web services company “ISTOS” and held the position of the General Manager until 1998. In 1998 he undertook the web and development sector of the company “Infomap”. Since 1998, he is part of the research group of Mass Media and Communication of Athens University and he teaches the subject of e-Journalism to post-graduates. In 2000 he undertakes the position of the content development consultant in OTEnet and he creates and handles the portal of the company. In 2003 he leaves to Thessaloniki where he becomes the editor and manager of “Minima” magazine for “Ekdotiki Voreiou Ellados”. In 2004 he undertakes the inlaid magazines management of the “Aggelioforos” newspaper until 2008. Currently works for “Eleytherotypia” as a coordinator and chief editor of enet.gr and he is responsible for the Social Media Development of the newspaper. He also teaches Electronic Journalism and Social Media introduction for companies and individuals as a collaborator of Athens University, Regional Press Institute, and Journalist’s Union of Macedonia and Thrace Daily Newspapers (ESIEMTH).
