Freelance Writer/Owner
I believe in storytelling. The more authentic, the better. To learn what your organization is all about, I go straight to the people living your brand promise. And then, I write. Web and magazine features. Online content. Collateral. Speeches. Campaigns. Ads. Brand Positioning. As a partner to ad agencies, universities, and businesses large and small, I’ll help you tap into your authentic brand messaging. Together, we'll share your story in a variety of compelling ways and across communication channels. With every piece, I seek to elicit an emotional connection grounded by a thoughtful messaging strategy. No strategy? No problem. Let's develop one together. You should also know that I love collaborating with creatives - web programmers, designers, photographers, events planners, creative directors - and I've got a talented and seasoned team at the ready. My experience includes the breadth and depth that comes with twenty years as a communication professional. A few highlights: I launched Jane Seymour's private home collection, served as a speechwriter for top leaders of a large public university, developed the theme and all communications for a fundraising campaign that secured more than $115 million, and helped lead an integrated marketing and strategic communication effort across an organization. The bottom line is this stuff is fun. I love to write. I'm passionate about stories -- and I want to share yours.
