I understood that I would become a Naval Architect at the age of about 6 years, while I was watching a ferry moored in the port of Venice and ready to set sail to Greece. I have never forgotten that moment.After graduation in Naval Architecture at Trieste University in year 2000, I spent the entire professional career in the ship design, mainly of yachts, ferries, cruise and passenger vessels.Mainly engaged in structural design and in project management, after 10 years as employed in a medium-large marine design office in Venice, in 2010 I decided to launch my own design activities, with the aim of offering design services dedicated to particular types of crafts and engineering fields and to have a team dimension as flexible as possible. Not having employees, I rely to a large network of friends and colleagues designers, with the possibility of being able to respond quickly to every request and in every part of the world.General and basic design, naval architecture, structural and system design, interior design are the main design areas which I can support. Passenger vessels of any type are the most appreciated ones.I know personally several software dedicated to ship design, like tools for Naval Architecture and FEA; I prefer to design in 3D, and regularly I dedicate and enjoy to improve my exterior design skill.
