Responsible for referring youth to appropriate resources to support education, social/emotional development. Partner with identified individuals/groups to help ensure each youth’s educational rights are upheld under federal and Washington State law. Responsible for scheduling and facilitating interagency meetings, negotiating services, facilitating transportation plans, assist with credit transfer or retrieval, negotiate disciplinary appeals. Responsible for managing effective working relationships at assigned school buildings with school personnel. Responsible for maintaining complete, accurate, and updated case records for each youth in the program’s database. Responsible for providing timely reports to social workers and caregivers.
