Starting with the Lightdash offline events where I held tournaments for Samurai Shodown I have now founded Sweden Online Spräng which has grown to be Swedens biggest online league and a pillar of the Fighting Game Community, especially during COVID. Seasonal weekly tournaments with finals held offline at Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Stockholm. Our partnership with Matcherino allows for us to have a prize pool every tournament, building up traveling funds for aspiring players. Polpeo simulates how a crisis breaks and spreads over digital and social media. Its simulation platform replicates the behaviour of media including social networks, microblogs, news sites, forums, blogs and video channels, while a live team behind the scenes mimics how the public might respond to the crisis. You can also send and receive simulated emails, collaborate on drafting strategies and communications plans and Q&As. I act as a member of the public, responding to the simulation participants attempts to manage the ongoing social media crisis. I also provide feedback on their performance.
