With over 30 years of experience in electrical engineering and mining, I bring extensive technical and commercial knowledge to my role as Managing Director of the SRG | SERVE Group. The group includes SRG Schaltanlagen GmbH & Co. KG and SERVE Engineering S.A.After training as a power system electronics technician and studying electrical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences for Mining in Saarbrücken, I began my career in underground coal mining in Germany. I gained valuable experience for over a decade before working on a project in a lignite mine in Turkey.My next professional station took me into sales, where I worked for almost ten years as a sales engineer for a German mining supplier. During this time, I planned and sold electrical systems for mines worldwide. I then took over the management of a mining supplier in North Rhine-Westphalia, where I was responsible for industrial switchgear in addition to electrical mining equipment.I have headed the SRG | SERVE Group since October 2022 and am responsible for both the operating companies and the holding company. My diverse experience in various organisational structures - from family businesses to group structures and private equity - has deepened my understanding of technical and commercial processes.I always strive to develop innovative solutions and maximise the efficiency of our projects to ensure sustainable success.
