Involved from the start in January 2011 as an external consultant my main projects were:- Establishment of competitive intelligence organisation with monitoring of competitors and regular reports of the market and its development. Included research and understanding of competitors, online consumers and e-commerce in China. Apart from qualitative research, databases and software for quantitative analysis were set up.- Establishment of offices in two provinces of West China. With the rapid expansion I was asked to setup on office in Kunming and one in Guiyang. This included everything from recruitment, finding office, buying furniture and arrange training of sales people.

Part of the branch from business start main focus was on creation of customer portfolio with Nordic SME and large corporations but also involved in business development such as:- Worked with the branch’s trade finance strategy and execution in China;- Mapped and improved internal processes between front- and back-office;- Led the bank’s participation in China’s CNY cross-border settlement pilot program;- Created external marketing material;Also received certification from CFETS as Forex Trader.

Worked with business development and marketing projects - main focus on early stage technologies and innovations, but also marketing towards Chinese customers. Projects ranged from mobile applications to online technology licenses. Work involved market and feasibility study, design of suitable market communication material and approach, strategies and partnership arrangements.

Co-founder of MindValue, a high tech venture that originated from Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship in Sweden. Business idea was to provide a two-factor single-sign-on authentication solution. To prove the concept a community for Chalmers University was also created named www.chalmeristen.se. This community grew and attracted large companies as advertiser and was finally acquired by the student union which later failed to run it.The role as entrepreneur meant being involved in most areas such as finding business opportunities, establishing relations, strategic planning, high tech marketing, business planning, business plan presentations for investors etc. Company went from two to seven employees in one year and developed a complete community by splitting it up in modules for master thesis students.
