Andrea Story, FSMPS, CPSM is the Chief Marketing and Administrative Officer at R&M Consultants, Inc. (R&M). Andrea has more than 27 years of experience in professional services marketing, including the past 19 years with R&M. She specializes in marketing and strategic planning, market research, communications and proposal development. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Alaska Anchorage. In 2001, she became Alaska’s first Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) through the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and achieved the status of Fellow in 2021. Andrea was instrumental in starting a local chapter of SMPS in 2011, and has served in a variety of positions on the chapter’s local Board of Directors, and currently serves as an at-large director on the SMPS Society Board of Directors. She was named the Society’s Chapter President of the Year in 2014. Andrea served as the Co-Chair for the SMPS Pacific Regional Conference in 2016 and 2017, and was a driving factor in bringing the conference to Anchorage in 2017. Andrea is a member of the UAA College of Business and Public Policy Advisory Board, and also leads QBS efforts for the local American Council of Engineering Companies chapter. She is a member of the Anchorage Rotary Club.
