I've been honored to work with the Muscle Shoals Horns, members of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section (aka the Swampers), Donnie Fritts, Scott Boyer, Tommy Talton, Blind Boys of Alabama, Charles “Wigg” Walker, Wet Willie, Sherman Holmes (Holmes Brothers), Eddie Floyd, Clarence Carter, Candi Staton, Tony Joe White, Billy Swan, Buzz Cason, Dan Penn, Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Doug MacLeod, Gary Talley (Box Tops) and many others in the studio or on stage. Over 100 of the songs I wrote or co-wrote have been recorded by a wide array of artists. I also write and produce music for movies and TV series. I've produced shows at Lincoln Center in New York, Porretta Soul Festival in Italy, the Vancouver Island MusicFest in Canada, the Alabama Bicentennial Concert in Montgomery (2019), the Alabama Music Hall of Fame's last four induction ceremonies, a Last Waltz 40th Anniversary Show featuring many collaborators of the Band (2017) and an all-star tribute to Eddie Hinton (2015).
