Hi, my name is Andrea Umogbai and I am a mass communication student at the University of Lagos. Ever since I was young, writing has always been a form of self-expression which is why in my second year, I joined the blogging team of my department. It was a opportunity to grow and hone my skills as a writer while learning from those above me. Due to the nature of my studies, I've had the opportunity to volunteer as a radio-host and work as a news editor for Unilag Sun, where I was mainly involved in the writing and editing of news stories. Alongside these, I have developed sound communication and research skills through these experiences. Currently I'm on the path to becoming a Virtual Assistant and this journey has been an exciting and somewhat exhausting one. It has given me the chance to be able to learn valuable skills such as hands-on knowledge of Google Workspace, teamwork, travel management, expense tracking, dependability and time management.Learning is a daily process, so I make it a point of duty to learn new things everyday. I am open to potential career opportunities and new connections in the writing and Virtual Assistant sphere.
