This is a small private practice in Pico Rivera. My approach is through a cultural/ancestral lens, which allows a safe space to explore the impact cultural intergenerational trauma has on our emotional health as we collaborate in healing collective trauma.

SVAC is a 56 bed, level-14 locked, residential facility for adolescents, housing 16 adolescents in our Psychiatric Hospital Facility (PHF) and 40 adolescents in our Community Treatment Facility (CTF). Using the ARC Model (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency) we provide case management and therapeutic services to adolescents with a wide range of childhood complex trauma (physical, sexual (CSEC) verbal abuse), behavioral issues (self-arm, suicidal ideation, aggression), and diagnosis (depression, psychosis, borderline traits, mood disorders, etc.). As the Primary Therapist and Case Manager the job duties include, but not limited to, mental health treatment (2 - 30 minute individual sessions per week with daily check-ins), group therapy 3x per week, Day Treatment Intensive (DTI) weeklies (EMR system), monthlies (summary of progress for the month), quarterlies (summary of progress in 3 month period), discharge planning, treatment team one time per month (includes meeting with child, team, and psychiatrist), family session (if present family involvement), communication with DCFS and DMH.

Community based outreach in an under-served community. Case management and in-home/in-school therapeutic services to youth and families. DMH 8-page in-take assessment using Welligent system.

Base client: Latina Females, age 18+. Facilitate a young mother's family education group.
