I am an Aerospace Engineer, specialized on Multidisciplinary Aircraft Design and Optimisation for conventional and future unconventional aircraft. After 1 year applied research at University of Pisa on drag reduction and post-stall behaviour of 2-seats aircraft in PrandtPlane configuration, I worked for 4 years at the French Aerospace Center ONERA on Multidisciplinary Design and Optimisation for Preliminary Aircraft Design in collaboration with Airbus - preliminary design office Toulouse - and Imperial College London where I successfully defended my Ph.D.Since January 2018 I have been working at XSun where, as Head of Design, I am in charge of the preliminary design of a low altitude long range autonomous solar drone and I am the Technical Coordinator of the technical activities and R&D of actual and future projects.I am passionate about science and technology, with particular attention on smart green mobility. I am leading my career towards a Chief Technology Officer roles.
