I am a researcher at the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. Currently working with an international team of scientists developing next-generation microscopy tools for live-cell biology (more information at testalab.org and scilifelab.se). My PhD focused on developing an optical spectrometer to investigate ultrafast processes in the early stages of photosynthesis and complex chromophoric systems (at wwwdisc.chimica.unipd.it/elisabetta.collini/).I have full training in physical chemistry and spectroscopy, experience with optics prototyping, 10+ years of programming in several contexts and languages (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, C++), and mathematical modeling of chemical reactions, protein motions, and photo-physics. Training in deep learning and neural networks with Keras/Tensorflow. My publication record counts more than 13 papers in international scientific journals (scholar.google.com/citations?user=oykg7eUAAAAJ&hl=en).
