Working at Weltrade for 18 years has been a fulfilling and transformative journey for me, both professionally and personally. I started my career here as a graphic designer,utilising my creative skills to develop marketing materials and packaging designs for both inhouse and externally if a client required a design service. Over the years, I honed my design abilities, staying up-to-date with industry trends, within FMCG space.As time passed, I took on new challenges and expanded my horizons within the company. One significant shift was transitioning to the compliance department, where I became responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and industry standards of ISO9001:2015, HACCP and Workplace Health & Safety. This transition allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the regulatory sector and the importance of compliance in maintaining a trustworthy and reliable business.Working in compliance at Weltrade has provided me with valuable insights into the intricacies of ISO and HACCP regulations, risk management, quality management developing systems and working together collaboratively to achieve the desired outcome for Weltrade. I’ve collaborated closely with colleagues across various departments to implement and monitor compliance procedures, ensuring the company operates with what it says they do and with legal boundaries.
