Andrea Wilson's educational experience spans over 25 years. This master servant leader/teacher/trainer married skills from the public school arena with adult education concepts to build an interstate for students of all ages to travel upon to obtain their GED in math, science, social studies, and reading/language arts. Wilson is a skillful strategist at exceeding state and national goals, and her motivational talks inspire staff and students to soar.Her current position as an Instructional Support Specialist oversees registration and conducts the orientation and onboarding of students on all campuses; provides post-secondary opportunities to students who have obtained their GED (i.e. careers, trades schools, military options, universities, and colleges); identifies and facilitates program-wide professional development to ensure job-related information is embedded in daily instruction and activities; and supports the administration and operation of classes of the Adult Education Program and its auxiliary sites. Before entering in Adult Education arena in Georgia, Ms. Wilson served in the public schools as Grade Level chair, the English Department chair, ACT/SAT preparatory coach, and SAT scorer, and has taught GED courses at South Florida State College. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Florida State University and is excited about completing a dual degree with a Master in Science and a Master in Divinity.
