As part of the site management team my responsibility included all production relevant Purchasing activities with a purchasing volume of a quarter billion euro. The purchasing volume consists of 2/3 electronic components and 1/3 of over-molding and non ferro technologies.I have reshaped the purchasing team set up to clear defined responsibilities along the commodity segments. The new structure allowed the better integration of the site vision into Valeo Global Supply mission and vice versa a better execution of the Valeo Global Supply Strategy at the site level. Consequently this new structure was resulting in significant and measurable performance improvement at the Teams operational efficiency. As a result an overall annual saving rate of 6% - 7% at 40 Products, with an average product age of 10 years, split over 11 Product Families and 4 Product Lines, could be achieved under my leadership.

I have been building the Technology Sourcing function as part of Centrotherms Product Development in order to provide a structured and focused approach to identify and enable utilization of innovative 3rd party technologies from the Supply Chain. Therefore I am arranging the collaboration of Sourcing with the R&D functions and product management in order to set the right focus for the activities and to increase the adaptation speed for the respective 3rd party innovations. The deliverables are technical and contractual readymade 3rd party innovations, available for product implementation. In this function I am reporting to the CTO and CPO of Centrotherm pv AG.

The assignment was to build an indirect Sourcing from the given resources as a fully functioning department with global responsibility across the group. This organization I am now leading reporting to the CFO of Centrotherm pv AG.I structured the organization around the indirect commodity areas and implemented an optimized and effective process, supported by the usage of tools like eProcurement. Through this structure now controlling is enabled which helped to define right measures for each commodity area towards increased compliance agreement rate and more efficient purchasing process. Thus I have been able to realize two digit cost reductions up to 35% within the individual commodity areas.

This organization I build up as part of Nokia´s global Sourcing. The outcome have been technical and contractual readymade 3rd party innovations available for product implementation in the areas of User Interface, Home Connectivity, Augmented Reality, 3D visualization technologies and applications. I was reporting to one of the five Vice Presidents of Nokia global Sourcing organization.

Until December 2007 I was heading the New Technology Sourcing Innovation Development team. Since than I am leading Nokia´s New Technology Sourcing as a matrix organization which is part of Nokia´s Sourcing Strategy & Business Development. New Technology Sourcing matrix organization is globally distributed. As scope for the organization I set the focus on to initiate, contract and lead innovation cooperation projects with globally based solution providers to ensure access and utilization of 3rd party innovations for Nokia product creation.

In this position my responsibility consist of innitiating and driving strategic research alliances with Eropean partners for Nokia relevant technology to the Coordination of the modus operandi with internal technology and research facilities as well as with external partners

I owned the full business responsibility for Core Network, Mobile Internet Solution and Business Consultancy with multi million Euro business responsibility to a Western Europe Operator. The team for which I was accountable consisted of multinational Product and Solution Marketing Managers. Major success in this position was innitiating and execution of business consulting for my customers business development through which I achieved commitment for Nokia´s Mobile Internet Solution.

I have been involved and have made major contribution to GPRS and 3G network infrastructure deal closing with several Western Europe Operators.
