In this role, I led training efforts for national -as well as being one of the few instructors chosen to support international defense clients, with focus on operations/maintenance of highly specialized military equipment. Coordinated preparation of instructional material to deliver training and evaluation to army personnel. I also provided support to technical assistance, product quality assurance and engineering departments of the company.

I coordinated a team of forty people driving high-quality production outputs supported by strong Lean manufacturing principles. I also identified and implemented process improvements opportunities by means of production’s KPIs, by monitoring and controlling for adherence to control plans and compliance to health, safety and quality standards.

I quickly rose through the ranks to perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance routines across all production lines. Supervised suppliers and contractors’ activities, ensuring maintenance quality standards were duly followed. Managed SAP system to control maintenance orders and spare-parts request, including registration of production machines’ Bill of Materials.
