Responsible for overseeing the daily activities of hourly associates on the Sales Floor, Front End, Freight, Delivery and/or Stocking departments. Responsible for training, mentoring, and coaching employees. Also manages associate performance and ensures adequate department coverage through influencing scheduling. This also includes overseeing the opening and closing procedures in the store, overseeing handling cash deposits and outflow for a multimillion dollar business, and ensuring store compliance with all safety procedures. Also responsible for increasing sales and maximizing profit margins through forecasting, sales reports, store promotions/programs, and managing inventory.

Providing great service through the application of structural and wild land fire suppression techniques as well as emergency medical services. Other duties involved fire prevention, public education, vehicle extrication, building and vehicle inspection and maintenance under the supervision of a company officer. Ensuring myself, my team and the my equipment are in a ready state at all times. Doing so safely, efficiently and without incident.
