During this time I was involved in the I-RAP project focusing on ESRI products and ArcGIS technologies to deliver a quality assurance solution.Objective:The main objective of this project was to enhance the geospatial capabilities and optimize operational efficiency for Scottish Water, a leading organization in the water utility sector. As a Solution Architect, my role was to design and implement a robust solution utilizing Esri ArcGIS technologies.Solution Approach:Working closely with Scottish Water's team, we identified the specific needs and challenges they faced. Leveraging my expertise in Esri ArcGIS technologies, we developed a comprehensive solution that integrated geospatial data, advanced analytics, and mobile field worker evidence-gathering to empower Scottish Water with actionable insights and informed decision-making.Key Highlights:1️⃣ Evidence gathering: We implemented Esri ArcGIS Survey123 product to provide Scottish Water's partners a means of submitting evidence on or offline. This enabled Scottish Water to have better control over project execution2️⃣ Spatial Analysis and Planning: We integrated Esri ArcGIS SaaS solution platform with not only native dashboards but also PowerBI tools for spatial analysis and planning, enabling Scottish Water to perform in-depth assessments of their infrastructure, identify areas of improvement, and optimize their asset management strategies. This resulted in cost savings, improved asset lifespan, and enhanced service delivery.Future Outlook:The successful implementation of Esri ArcGIS technologies within Scottish Water's operations sets the stage for further digital transformation and innovation in the water utility sector.

During this time I was involved in the GBVI (Generic Backend Traffic Information) project focusing on the GIS functionality in a microservice kubernetes environment.Objective:The primary objective of GBVI was to replace an existing back-end API for the website verkeeersinfo.nl. We aimed to address the issue where the customer needed more insight into the working of the back-end API as well as being able to manage the way the algorithms and data retrieval work while keeping all front-end functionality intact.Approach:Our project team adopted a strategic, agile, and collaborative approach to tackle the challenges at hand. We conducted thorough research, gathered pertinent data, and engaged in extensive stakeholder consultations. This allowed us to gain valuable insights, identify key areas of renewal, and develop a comprehensive roadmap to problem solving.

Designed, configured, and implemented an innovative Intranet website utilizing Silverlight technology and leveraging ESRI and ArcFmUt to provide users with access to geographical data. Developed mobile access to ArcGIS 10.2 services by integrating ArcGIS Online technology with the ESRI Android App, enhancing accessibility for users. Created custom add-ons for the Silverlight viewer applications using C#, Silverlight, ESRI Silverlight API 3.2, and the ESRI extensibility framework, enhancing functionality and user experience. Implemented and configured a WMPS server to efficiently handle output from various web viewer applications, improving data management and performance. Built a robust WPS application using Python 3.5 scripting, enabling seamless deployment of ArcGIS cache, website deployment, and one-click sharing of ArcGIS mxd files as ArcGIS Services, streamlining the deployment process. Currently leading the migration of the aforementioned website to the HTML5 ESRI stack, ensuring improved performance and compatibility. Actively involved in the development of augmented reality-based mobile applications, driving innovation and delivering enhanced experiences for our customer.
