Charles Gordy said that “a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks”. A smile is the magic stick that brings happiness, kindness, power and friendship. A smile on the perfect moment is worth a thousand words. Nowadays, less people smile, maybe because they always hurry, they don’t enjoy life’s little pleasures, or more often they don’t have self confidence because of their dental issues. My happiness is irrigated by the passion for health, beauty and the profession I have chosen. I think getting to be a good doctor, beyond knowledge and diplomas, needs passion, dedication, availability and a caring attitude. Dentistry is the perfect match between medicine and the art of making people smile, between removing a pain and improving social impact.When I was in highschool and studied anatomy in the 11th grade, I discovered I wanted to became a doctor. I decided to chose dentistry, but didn’t know if it’s the right choice. In the 3rd year of faculty, when we started the clinical part I had the first connection with a patient, doing a professional dental hygiene procedure. Nothing important, but a big step to the moon for me at that time. From that moment I was excited about every connection with a new patient, and the emotional part at the end of every treatment.I graduated university in 2011 and started a postgraduate program in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Clinical Emergency Hospital Sibiu, guided also by passion for treating children and adolescents. Working with kids it’s the hardest and the beautiful part, you learn everyday new things. In the same time after graduation I started working in a private dental office as a general and pediatric dentist.In 2014 I founded Unique Smile, a private dental care center, in Sibiu. www.uniquesmile.ro
