I also animated quarterly business review meetings with the suppliers in my portfolio, where we discussed and analyzed the business done together, its quality and points that can be improved on both sides. For this particular segment of activity, the carriers do not have to issue their own invoice: it was up to me to receive the transport document, check their accuracy and input all necessary information into our billing system, in order to a monthly statement to be issued and bill automatically all transports done in a month. My second mission was to receive and solve invoicing related-claims from our suppliers and assist them in order for payment to be done smoothly and correctly.While doing this job, I have also helped the invoice validation team when they were understaffed. Working for ZOO Digital was a great way to combine two of my greatest hobbies: languages and films. I did subtitles and translation quality check for films, cartoons and TV shows for one of their major clients. All translations were from English to Romanian, and were done using ZOO's own subtitling tool.

Every two months, German psychologist and therapist, Claus Kostka, holds weekend-long workshops and group therapies. My responsibility was to translate Mr Kostka’s English speech into Romanian, and vice-versa, for the patients.

G2Travel is a business to business company that sells land services to travel agencies, mainly in Asia. The services are booked for groups of tourists, rather than individuals. I would also take calls from tour leaders of ongoing groups and provide assistance regarding any kind of issues ranging from minor itinerary amendments, to major ones, such as coach break-down or a tourist falling ill. I worked as a full-time English teacher at a private company in Japan, which provides custom-made English classes for all ages. My classes ranged from baby (ages 1-2), to adult. My responsibilities included lesson planning for school, high-school and adult classes. Once or twice a week I taught business English at local shipbuilding companies. In addition, I took over any translations referred to the company; I did translations connected to the shipbuilding industry, from Japanese to English.

I worked as a full-time English teacher. My students ranged from 7 to 14 years old and – being a private school – they all studied English intensively, having 5 English classes per week. I taught according to the school syllabus and textbooks, and I also prepared my students for their Cambridge examinations (YEL – Starters, Movers & Flyers, KET, PET).

I was brought in as a student on an internship to reorganize the internal data base of the Recruitment team. Although my time there was short, I gained working experience in a multinational corporation and basic knowledge in the human resources area.
