I am responsible for strengthening Elections Canada’s relations with various governmental agencies and international organizations. I sit as the agency’s representative on the steering board of one its main international partnerships, I host international delegations when they visit Elections Canada, and I represent the agency at international events and conferences. Other responsibilities include engaging new stakeholders to encourage participation in collaborative initiatives.I conduct research and analysis to provide recommendations to management on political issues that could affect Elections Canada’s international relations and I conduct environmental scans on governance and democracy promotion around the world. I also supervise students and interns.

Working in close partnership with the legal team, I prepared legislative, cross-jurisdictional policy analysis and international benchmarking for the Information Commissioner’s appearance before parliamentary committees. I also led the agency’s Open Government Partnership file, which included providing concise monthly reports to the Information Commissioner on topics such as access to information and open data in various jurisdictions.

I collected and analyzed business intelligence on electoral integrity and I wrote situation reports to management on potential irregularities during the 2015 federal elections. I also analyzed complaints to identify potential offences to the Canada Elections Act and I conducted analysis on the agency's social media use during the 2015 general elections.

Provided analytical summaries of relevant events on the same issue.
