Well, after a very brief pause, I’ve decided to take on a new challenge and join the incredible Northland Control’s team as their Canadian Country Manager. My goal is to grow the business with applied operational knowledge stemming from over 20 years of system integration’s experience on the Canadian market. The integration to the Northland’s team is largely facilitated by years of mutual collaboration as one of their trusted Local Service Partner for their clients with assets and facilities across our beautiful country. In 1998, André founded Extravision Video Technologies Inc. which ultimately became Extravision Security Technologies Inc. and acted up until April of 2018 as the company’s President-CEO. His principal role covered the Business Development, operations, customer and partner relationship. He also led a team of security experts involved in numerous aspects of security technologies as well as consultants specialized physical and logical security roles. His field of expertise focuses on system’s architecture, engineering and integration of technologies for security as well as tactical operations and emergency response in Counter-Terrorism.In 2005, André retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) where he served last as a Senior Criminal Investigator. André also worked with the Counter-Terrorist Emergency Response Team for over 10 years. He led this group, one of the most solicited team for missions in Canada, on more than 800 assignments of all sorts. André also worked jointly with the Department of National Defense to establish and implement standard operating procedures particularly for Aerial and Terrestrial tactical operations in Counter-Terrorist operations.André has participated at the implementation of physical protection and protective force security upgrades at classified overseas nuclear weapon complexes and special nuclear material processing facilities.André is conducting threat assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, managing security upgrades, and ensuring the integration of protective forces in the development of security plans.
