• Part of the Cloud delivery team, providing clients with a bespoke cloud-based managed services. Attended pre-sales meetings to discuss client requirements, designed and delivered solutions using a range of technologies including Hyper-V and VMWare.• Joined the systems implementation team, developing the internal cloud platform (VMWare) to support the new UK market. • KMCS support a number of NHS clinical commissioning groups (CCGs); Ashford, Canterbury and Coastal, Medway, Swale, Dartford, South Kent Coast, West Kent, Thanet, Gravesham and Swanley, as well as over 450 GP surgeries. • Reviewed the overall technical architecture and produced a detailed design to meet strategic goals, government best practice and to provide a flexible environment to cope with future organisational changes. The scope included a new design for Active Directory, server naming conventions and processes for PC builds.• Managed a team of eight to implement various aspects of the new architecture.• Managed a number of infrastructure upgrade projects including installing a new high-availability data-centre (with DR), virtualisation (VMware/ESXi 5 and Hyper-V), radius authentication (Juniper SA6500/EMC Authentication Manager) and implementation of a Commvault backup solution.• Provided 3rd-line support for a range of systems including SQL 2008R2 clustered servers, Apple file services, CISCO ASA firewalls and wireless controllers.• Worked in line with ITIL and Prince-2 processes providing detailed documentation through the full project life-cycle.
