Bachelor of Science - Biology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS - Brazil). Researcher with 5+ years of experience in bench/wet and computational environments in several laboratories/projects.Currently, I am a postgraduate intern at the Laboratory of Cells, Tissues, and Genes of the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA - Brazil). During my undergraduate studies, I worked with Virology, Developmental Biology, and Stem Cell Therapy. I received training in cell culture, molecular biology, animal models, and bioinformatics. I seek integrative and translational approaches, combining in vivo, in vitro, and in silico techniques, aiming for a more interdisciplinary and knowledge-frontier science. I also have experience as a teaching assistant, have helped undergraduate students with literature review, project development, and scientific writing. I organized, attended, and received prizes in science communication events and conferences/meetings/congresses. I have a first-author published paper in an international journal. I am a member of the Brazilian Society for Virology and the Society for Experimental Biology and Medicine. I advocate for a more transparent, reproducible, collaborative, and sustainable science.I am interested in: Neglected/emergent pathogens, One Health, Regenerative Medicine, Experimental Teratology, Advanced Therapies, Diagnostic Development, and Science Communication.
