Broad experience in complex and innovative Healthcare IT projects, both from the technical and the healthcare side. Bridging the gap between these specialities. For example involved in the area of anatomic pathology with projects on a national, regional and local lab level with digital pathology and LIMS projects. Also in this area AI will change this field with the introduction of computational pathology. Healthcare IT has a huge potential to help resolve issues that healthcare is facing today. Especially innovations like Artificial Intelligence are needed to keep the healthcare ecosystem sustainable. There is an increasing shortage of medical professionals and at the same time the amount of knowledge is increasing rapidly which should benefit patients. My goal is to accelarate development from technology and science to clinical practice to improve patient core.Concerned about the growing gap between the least developed countries and developed countries also with respect to healthcare.Responsibility as Chief Strategy Officer at MedicalPHIT.
