I was contractor for Goldman Sachs Group and later for American Stock Transfer.Build common business vocabulary, data models, and taxonomies to guide enterprise solution development, ensuring consistency across all applications. Establish criteria for extracting, integrating, and transforming data (ETL/ELT) from multiple sources to perform effective data analysis and reporting that aid in finalizing critical business decisions. Implement and manage principles of data quality management including metadata, lineage, and business definitions, and develop detailed documentation to aid in adoption and application in business processes. - Coordinated with business teams to gain an understanding of business strategies, current pain points, and requirements and identify business solutions to increase productivity.- Managed all aspects of data warehousing including star-schema design, slowly changing dimensions, bus matrix mapping, and snowflake schema design, and performed proper tagging and effective data to enable future analyses using specific dates and time periods.- Conducted storage optimization and query tuning, and developed ETL scripts that preserved the integrity of data lineage, error correction, and audit trail.- Developed standards and guidelines for managing, modeling, naming, and describing, governing, cleansing, transforming, searching, storing, and delivering data, while ensuring compliance with industry best practices.- Designed and implemented data virtualization solutions using Denodo Data Virtualization tool, enabling real-time access to disparate data sources without the need for physical data movement.- Created and implemented the corporate data strategy including data security, data retention, and data stewardship.- Established CI/CD processes in DWH development using Git and Jenkins.
