    During the 4th year of college, I have founded the e-commerce website dm.ro (DigitalMall.ro).At the beginning the product offering was limited to photo-video digital cameras and accessories, based on imports from external suppliers, mainly US. Through imports we were able to have access to a wide range of main products, and most important to accessories for them, at lower prices than the internal suppliers.In the next 2 years, we have diversified our product offering, and included the whole range of IT&C and appliances products, approximately 30,000 items in listings.Each year we have seen an increase in sales of at least 100%, and, in 2007, we have reached EUR 5 mil in turnover.Together with this rapid development, our staff increased, and I was in charge with the management of a team of 35 employees.We also had to change the offices and warehouse location four times.Seeking new business opportunities and partnerships, I traveled to several international fairs and exhibitions with IT&C products. This way, besides the traditional suppliers in USA, I have established business partnerships with new ones in China, Japan, Germany and UK.While the import amounts increased, I have realized the opportunity to start a distribution company of IT&C products. I did this in 2006 when I created Zetta Distribution company. The goal of this company was to wholesale IT&C products to local re-sellers, one of them being dm.ro.Through all this time, I manged to maintain dm.ro in the top 5 players in the Romanian e-commerce. As for today, back then, the market was dominated by emag.ro, which had a significant market share. Based on market share, dm.ro was approximately equal to other e-commerce websites like cel.ro, pcgarage.ro, pcfun.ro, evomag.ro.
