UnknownPlanetTV - is one of the oldest producers of documentaries in Russia. Dosens and dosens of our films have been shown on all the major TV channels of the country: Channel 1 Russia, Russia-RTR, NTV, Ren-TV TNT, and more...I'm mostly a producer and chief editor in my company. Sometimes - a director, sometimes a script-writer.I am also hosting a weekly radio-show on Radio Russia - the station with the largest audience in the country. This show is on air for more than 7 years, it is half an hour long, its name is Unknown Planet as well.What are our films are about? History - its written and hidden versions; religions and nations - emerging, dissapearing and those already vanished; unexplicable in nature; biographies of great people - living and passed...We've been travelling all over the world for more than 16 years, that's why we are sure: our world, its history and future are still unknown.

I was one of several co-founders of Interfax, the first private news agency in then the Soviet Union and later (after 1991) Russian Federation.My responsibilities as vice-president were all the finacial and economic services of the agency: daily economic wire, financial analytics, different weekly newsletters (Oil&Gas, Mining, Agricultural Reports, etc). I also was the editor-in-chief of our weekly newspaper.In 1996 I left Interfax and founded a new company - UnknownPlanetTV.

Editor, reporter, interviewer, commentator, newspresenter in the Scandinavian (+Finland) section of Radio Moscow, which was propaganda station of the Communist party, broadcasting abroad on dosens of foreign languages. I was lucky to join Radio Moscow when Gorbachev just came into power and the famous "Perestroika" (reconstruction, reload) was started.So it was a fun and great experience to be part of real "Glasnost" (openness in media).We watched the collapse of the enormous Soviet power literally "live on air" and our job was to explain to our listeners abroad what was going on in the country then called the USSR. Well... We - ourselves - were eager to understand.Those were really unprecendentedly liberal times for Russian journalists. A lot of new mass media emerged from within Radio Moscow: we learned quickly and wanted to find out what it feels to be independent.
