Former holder of scholarship award and defended a master’s degree from Stockholm University (major - Economics of Education). Former senior lecturer in International Economic Relations at the Free International University of Moldova (ULIM) and at the Faculty of Ongoing Training, State Pedagogical University of Chisinau (Moldova). Holder of two university degrees in Moldova (Pedagogical University, English and French Dept., 1990 and Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, 1998); has extensive experience in consulting for international development projects, combined with part-time teaching for the University of European Studies of Moldova and Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. Scholarship awards winner and took courses as follows: „Studies of International Markets with the Reuters Open University” in Bucharest (1994); „Banking and Finance” from the National Institute of Bank Management in the town of Pune, India (1994); „Sustainable Development” at the International Center of Japan, IDCJ, Tokyo (1999), and „Macroeconomic Policies” at the Economic Research Institute of Japan, Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Tokyo (1999).
