Cu o vastă experiență atât ca avocat (1994), cât și ca arbitru (supra-arbitru) la Curtea de Arbitraj Comercial de pe lângă Camera de Comerț și Industrie a României (2009), este unul dintre cei mai cunoscuți practicieni ai dreptului. Este președintele Societății de Științe Juridice din România (2009), coordonator JURIDICE.ro (2004), cercetător asociat în cadrul Institutului de Cercetări Juridice al Academiei Române (2010), membru fondator al Asociației pentru Tehnologie și Internet (2004), membru de onoare al Uniunii Naționale a Experților în Legislația Muncii și formator la Institutul Național pentru Pregătirea și Perfecționarea Avocaților (2009).
