- Ensure that all construction activities on the vessel are carried out in a safe manner and in adherence to the Company safety policy, statutory regulations and guidelines;- Ensure that all construction safety systems and equipment are in place, fully operational and correctly serviced (e.g. station bills, fire fighting systems, signs etc.);- Administer, monitor and audit the vessel permit to work system;- Conducts safety meetings and evaluate the safety aspects of proposed activities, also record any concerns raised at these pre job meetings; - Laises with each Department Leader on a weekly basis for all matters relating to health and safety; -take part in all accident/incident/near miss investigations relating to any construction related incident; - Carry out any in-house safety related training; - Ensure that any learning points are communicated to line management and the workforce; - General policing of work sites; -implementation of any safety related procedures or safety awareness campaigns;- Preparation of Job Hazard Analysis in conjunction with the Supervisor; - Ensure that information on the handling of substances and the precaution to be taken is made available to all users of the materials including MSDS; Inspection of PPE supplied for all activities; conduct the induction training of the personnel - Helicopter Landing Officer dutiesExperience on board Pipe-lay Vessels and Heavy Lift Vessels

Project Supervisor on ship`s structure repairs and modifications offshore Nigeria - FSO OLOIBIRI of Chevron Texaco & offshore Angola - FPSO OCEAN PRODUCER of Oceaneering - Supervising and coordinating directly all above mentioned repair jobs in co¬ operation with the Client,i.e. through his representative on site – offshore installation manager.- Responsible for work scheduling, quality standard and delivery term. -Liaising between OK Marine and Owner representative and Classification Society Surveyor. - Responsible for QHSE, active participation in Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment process.- Issued weekly job progress reports and timesheets. - Prepare the final repair report for Client and Class Representative.
