I was hired by Mary Brown’s Chicken and Taters restaurant, where I started as a cook. Due to my administrative knowledge and people skills I was promoted to Supervisor and after that to the Store Manager. As a Restaurant Manager I took on many responsibilities, including effectively recruiting and managing employees, overseeing operations, handling customer complaints, and generating financial reports. Other important aspects of my duties were to ensure health and safety regulations and manage inventory. In this position, I could help the restaurant to reduce its costs, but still keep the quality of our products and procedures, I was also responsible for controlling the employee’s hours and schedules as well as the store budget.

As a supervisor I was responsible to assist the restaurant Manager in their absence with the day-to-day restaurant operations and make decisions within the restaurant including labor, customer experiences and sanitation to ensure profitability through restaurant presentation, guest service, and daily operational cost control

I had the opportunity to work as Office Administrator for 7 years in Brazil. In this position, I worked with accounts payable, providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. In addition to that, I was also responsible for coordinating all the supply chain operations as well as managing the inventory guaranteeing the safety and quality of the company’s products from the shipment until the delivery to the customers. All those years of experience, combined with my education helped me to succeed in the Brazilian job market since I could excel at my employer’s expectations and contribute to the company’s success and growth.
