Synthesis of titanates nanotubes and decoration with nanoparticles. Degradation over time using a UV/Vis lamp. Spectroscopy evaluation using the following techniques: spectrophotometer UV/VIS,diffuse reflectance (DR) and fluorescence. The main subject is the study of the reactivity between metal transition complexes and ionic liquids, developing alternatives to the usual sulphur removing processes on fuels. R&D Student (March-August 2009) in an internship at Altachem N.V., High Tech Company in Polyurethane Foams and AeroSol Valves, in Industrielaan 12, B-9800, Deinze, Belgium.The purpose was the production of more ecological polyurethane foams which has resulted in master thesis with the theme: ‘Development of an One Component Polyurethane Foam with a Free MDI Monomer Content less than 1% of the Total Chemical Weight´ defended with 16/20.
