Chef And Owner
CurrentBe free from processed foods, unhealthy fats, refined sugars, gluten and routine. In our society today many people suffer from obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and allergies. The part of this equation that we cannot control is genetics but the part we can control is the food we eat. By changing the way we look at food we can change our lives. The idea of eating processed foods in order to save time and money is a myth. I propose that we change the way that food is planned, selected, prepared and eaten. It is possible to eat high quality, healthy foods while living a busy professional lifestyle. Family traditions have disappeared and the art of cooking has been lost. Since I graduated with Honors from Kendall College with a degree in the Culinary Arts, I am now offering healthy cooking classes for you. I have been cooking since I was seven, worked in restaurants such as North Pond and Deleece, and have always valued wholesome, healthy meals made from scratch. Some ideas for classes include Basic Techniques, Planning Meals, Gluten Free or Dairy Free Cooking, Vegetarian or Vegan Meals, Cooking Healthy Food for Children, A Healthy Thanksgiving Feast, Easy Dinner Parties, Evening Meals for Working People, Date Night Cuisine and International Dishes.
