About Andreia Sousa, Phd

I am an interdisciplinary researcher with a doctoral degree in Climate Change and Marine Ecosystems. My research primarily focuses on evaluating the effects of climate change on marine socio-ecological systems. In addition, I have extensive work experience in facilitating stakeholder engagement and providing decision support for climate adaptation strategies. As a means of informing and engaging communities in environmental matters, I also develop projects that merge art and science. Ultimately, my goal is to bolster the alliance between science and policy, and to actively promote environmental sustainability.
