An interiors’ architect and a cybersecurity trainee went hiking in the mountains... Growing up, I have always lived in small houses that needed lots of storage and functionality, and I have always been driven to make dreams happen, for myself and for others. Drawing furniture according to the clients’ needs, always focusing on the cohesion between the functional and aesthetic components, was the way I found, over the last few years, to help fulfill those dreams. This is why I chose to attend the Architecture's university to become a graduate in Architectural Sciences: to make my clients turn their normal days at home into exceptional ones.However, this interiors’ architect started to become a bit overwhelmed, unhappy, and not hopeful about her path. And one day in the middle of nature’s green scenery, my refugee, I decided to change my direction. I just didn’t know where to. What I knew: • I had to change something in my life.• While Covid 19 was happening, I felt my job was, somehow, a little bit shallow. I didn’t feel useful or essential to that kind of reality. • I have always loved math and have analytic thinking. Sometime later, I found the Upskill's Program. And I also found that in the IT world, I could make that difference and be more useful. That was when I turned from East to West, by leaving my comfort zone and becoming a network and cybersecurity trainee. IT is the present and mostly the future. Rare is the person who doesn’t have a smartphone or doesn’t use a computer to work. Companies need to protect themselves and their customers.What else can I tell you about my inner self? Well, I am a colorful person and I am usually the type of person that other people tend to reach out to for advice and suggestions on how to solve some of the issues that they might have. I also find myself a caring person, dedicated to everything I embrace, with a great eye for detail and multi-faceted. According to my latest strengths profile, my top 5 strengths are wisdom, transcendence, courage, justice and temperance.I participated in choirs for most of my life, so I sing (almost) everywhere I am, especially when I am happy. I love and live for my family and close friends, and my bigger hobbies are baking, hiking in the middle of nature, and being a reading addict.“The more you read, the more things you will know.
