Dampener Project Engineer: Worked with customers to properly size and provide acoustic dampeners. Quoted, designed, and delivered dampeners that would meet customer requirements.Hydropneumatics Project Engineer: Analyzed customer’s pipelines to provide and design surge/pressure control systems. The systems included an ASME designed pressure vessel with control logic that monitored pressures and water levels. Delivered complete systems with on-site startup and training services. Document Control: Implemented SolidWorks PDM system. Designed Workflows, custom VB.Net API scripts, and wrote standard operating procedures on how to release and revise documents within a PDM system. Database Design: Designed PULSCO's quote and project management database. Database monitors all quotes and projects for deadlines as well as inventory levels, KPI's, and purchase order requests.

Drone was designed and built using a 32bit flight controller board, 2.4 GHZ PPM remote control, 5.8 GHZ video transmitter/receiver, 2 axis gimbal for stabilized video, 1080p camera, GPS Module, heads up display that shows telemetry, altitude, GPS coordinates, direction and battery life.Successfully flew drone with an estimate battery life of 15 minutes. Drone can hold altitude, position, and angle using onboard accelerometer, gyro, barometer, and GPS.

Engineering experience gained: UCI Numerical Methods of Heat, Mass and Momentum Transport: Laminar Flows:Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure-Linked Equations SIMPLE (by Patankar and Spalding 1972)Used the SIMPLE algorithm to solve a steady viscous laminar flow through a sudden expansion in an axisymmetric pipe.Analyzed the re-circulation zone by plotting the streamlines, vorticity, shear stress, velocity and pressure fields.Compared results with previous publications to validate the solution.Programmed the SIMPLER algorithm and compared the computation time with that of SIMPLE.UCI Bio-robotics:Surveyed state of the art approaches for robotic and mechatronic devices that support and enhance human movement for rehabilitation and surgery.Designed decoder in Mat-Lab for a brain computer interface for a locked in patient.Decoder took input from roughly 1000 neurons and moved a cursor in a direction dependent on the firing rates of those brain neurons.UCI Computational Fluid Dynamics:Programmed common numerical methods for solving compressible Euler and Navier-Stokes equations at subsonic, transonic, and supersonic speeds.Used the numeric schemes to simulate a shock tube, and a supersonic nozzle flow with shock capture.UCI Autonomous Dodge Ball Robot: Team LeadLed a team of 4 engineers in the design of an autonomous dodge ball robot. The robot would later compete against other robots at launching and deflecting dodge balls.Robot was designed to track two dodge balls using a computer vision system. When one of the balls was close enough to the robot, it would extend a telescoping arm and knock it out of our side of the court.Used Labview to program the proportional derivative controller of the robot.Designed the gear system, linkages, telescoping arm.Computer skills: Knowledge of Pro E/CREO, Windchill, Solidworks, Mat-Lab, EECS, Abaqus, C++, Python, PLC, FORTRAN and Microsoft Office
